Personal bio & Overview
Currently is the CEO of Makers Inc. and Oro Real Estate Group USA, LLC. Previously, he was an NGN Engineer at Zain Kuwait. Zain is a leading and dominant Telecom Operator in the Middle East. He worked in a team responsible for the implementation and operation of Zain Network. In 2007, he earned a dual BS/BA degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of San Diego in the United States. He graduated Summa Cum Laude and was the Chair of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) at the University of San Diego student branch in addition to being the president of Eta Kappa Nu at the University of San Diego. Previously, he worked at Mezzan Holding Company, a family owned business, where he was exposed to merchandising and distribution of consumer goods. He also worked in financial analysis and budget setting for Mezzan Holding Company. In 2009, he co-founded Makers Inc. a start-up in Kuwait focusing on education technology. In 2010, he co-founded the University of San Diego Alumni Association - GCC Chapter. In 2012, he co-founded Oro Realty Group, a company focused on property ownership and management. It has a branch in the United States, Oro Real Estate Group USA, LLC, focusing on real estate investment in southern California. In 2012, Ali was inducted into Tau Beta Pi, the oldest (established 1885) and most prestigious of engineering national honor societies, in the University of San Diego. He was also selected for Thukhur Promising Leaders Program and was trained in Cornell University.
